Gears of War 3 absolutely blasted its way through the charts last week coming out top in the individual charts and the multi-format chart. There is a good reason for that and that is because Gears of War 3 is simply an absolute masterpiece of game, making the unreal engine look even crispier and more awesome in this final début of the series. Epic Games definitely finished Gears off with a blast as the storyline within the campaign acclimatizes to new levels and the whole structure of it along with how the game plays out is perfect and, if I was the reviewing kind, I'd give it a 10.

For example, Gunkers and Berserkers are living counterparts to tanks. They take ridiculous amounts of ammo and end up leaving you with your Snub pistol to fend for yourself. A colossal creature on the other hand, fortunately only encountered twice throughout the campaign, is the Leviathan. This marine monster was encountered in the previous title and is featured at the start of the game and later on. The Leviathan takes much more fire power than small firearms, Silverbacks are necessary and instead, you result in killing it with a box of Tickers.

In another shooter genre and probably one of the most acclaimed titles of this year, apart form Gears, is Battlefield 3. This Thursday, or today to those who pre-ordered BF3 through Origin/Bought Medal of Honor Limited Edition, is the Battlefield 3 open beta. It will be pretty intense as I have past knowledge of playing the private Alpha. I can definitely say DICE's latest to be release is on my most wanted list. Is it on yours?
